small blood vessels

The hair grows from the root, leaves the follicle and passes through the skin, becoming visible then. The small blood vessels at the base of each follicle feed the hair root to allow it to grow Princess Hair. But once the hair emerges from the surface of the skin, the cells that form it are no longer alive. The cells of each of the hairs that you see in your body are dead.

The most common type of hair loss is called androgenetic alopecia, also known as male or female pattern baldness. It tends to be hereditary and causes gradual hair loss. As men get older, they can start losing hair on the front of their scalp.
